The workpieces are placed manually on the feeder. In the case of guide rails, the guide rail is staked out and fixed to the carriage with replaceable locking pins (corresponding to the rail size) in the last hole. For round material or material without holes, the carriage is changed to a magnetic trailing edge thrust.

The workpieces are pushed on accurate brush rollers and brush plates without damage in the direction of workpiece measurement. The workpiece measurement detects the front edge of the workpiece and thus automatically calculates the workpiece length. For guide rails, enter the size and the hole spacing in the controller.

The material is transported in a predefined way into the machine and there is a bleed. As a result, an exact length of the cutting disc to the trailing edge of the workpiece is defined and tolerances of ± 0.2 mm can be separated safely. The workpiece is then automatically separated according to the set values.

The separated workpieces are pushed onto the discharge and removed manually. The cutting wheel is automatically measured after each cutting cut and the parameters such as cutting path, rapid traverse and cutting speed are adjusted automatically.
