Cutting discs and coolant
Special cutting discs adapted to our machines and materials
No cutting disc is identical.
Cutting discs are divided into wet cutting discs and dry cutting discs:
- Resin-bonded cutting discs are a natural product consisting of approx. 200 different types of corundum and different types of bonding. e.g. for stainless steel and special alloys, steel hardened or soft, aluminum hardened or soft.
- Rubber-bonded cutting discs separate almost burr-free and fast. e.g. for cobalt chrome, other refractory materials and stainless steel.
- CBN disks of cubic boron nitride, sintered on stainless steel. e.g. for steel and alloys.
- Diamond discs, sintered on stainless steel. e.g. for carbon, glass fiber, as well as ceramics and glass, carbide, carbides.
For your application SilverCut offers exactly the right cutting disc. Separation speed approx. 45-63 m/s. Dry cutting discs are selected depending on the application.
As coolant we offer water with "Synthetic corrosion protection" (oil-free) SilverCut-Domofluid (concentration 4-5% of the coolant).
